Brunel SP500 xp
The Brunel SP500 xp is a polarisation variant of the Brunel SP500 biological microscope. The instrument has the same stand but has the full specification for polarisation microscopy.
• Trinocular head with x10 widefield eyepieces
• A large modern design, stable base, with ergonomically positioned coaxial coarse and fine focus controls
• The rotating circular stage has a ball bearing race for smooth movement
• Infinity corrected objectives are strain free and provide an excellent optical quality. x4, x10, x40 and x100 (oil).
• The SP500 xp has a graduated analyser that can be rotated through 90°
• A Bertrand lens can be introduced to allow conoscopic assessment
• The polariser is housed in a swing out holder with graduation and an indexing click stop at 360°.
• The substage condenser has full lateral position adjustment and an iris diaphragm
